Great-Grandma Bartsch's Nutmeg Cookies
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2Cup BARIĀ® Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
- 3 Cups Flour
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
Mix sugar, olive oil, egg, and sour cream large bowl. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and nutmeg and then add to wet mixture and stir until the dough forms a ball. Roll dough out to 1/4 to 1/3 inch thick and cut with your favorite cookie cutter. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet and sprinkle with surgar or sprinkles. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 325 degrees. Makes approximately 36 cookies.
